Start a Happiness Jar

As evidenced by my post yesterday about depression, whether you are an expat or back home, everyone needs a reminder every now and again of happy times. So why not start a happiness jar?  Grab an old mason jar or vase and put it where everyone in your family can access it along with a cube of paper and a pen.  At the end of the day, everyone sits down and writes down something that made them happy that day.  Not only is it a great way to reflect on your day in a positive way, but when you are feeling down, just grab a few notes out of the jar and read them to remember those good moments!  Mine for today? It’s all the amazing support I received from friends near and far on my post yesterday – lucky doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel right now!  Love to all of you!!
